MEALS AND SPECIAL EVENTS

Box lunches on Thursday and Friday will be furnished for those paying $13 per lunch with registration. As a limited time period will be allowed for lunch each day, we strongly encourage everyone to signup for these lunches. We are also selling these box lunches below cost in order for them to be affordable, so we strongly encourage you to sign-up for them.

Several local restaurants will provide choices for evening on-your-own meals, including excellent restaurant options conveniently located in the conference hotel.

To celebrate the 30th Anniversary of the Southern Graphics Council a Banquet Dinner is planned for Friday April 5th.  Tickets for the SGC Birthday Party and Banquet are $35. We hope no one will miss-out on attending this special dinner event to honor the co-founder of the SGC, Boyd Saunders with the Printmaker Emeritus Award.  All living recipients of the Printmakers Emeritus Award have been encouraged to attend the conference and to participate in this special evening.  Featured will be a talk by Andrei Codrescu.

On the night of Saturday April 6th a complimentary Zydeco Dance Party with "Nathan and the Zydeco Cha Cha's" will take place at The Howlin' Wolf, voted "Best Rock Club in New Orleans" five years in a row by Offbeat Magazine. The conference King and Queen will be crowned at this event, and Clarke Bedford of the Hirshhorn Museum will give a special presentation on "Gumbo Connoisseurship." Unique party favors are being produced for the occasion, including a mask designed by Tom Huck and printed by Yee Haw Industries. A cash bar will be available.
