Undergraduate students: We are always recruiting self-motivated and creative undergraduate students with good academic records who are interested in doing independent research projects. An interested candidate can send his/her CV to Dr. Trinh.

Graduate students: We are always recruiting self-motivated and creative graduate students to join our research group.

Postdoctoral researchers: We are currently having several openings for postdoctoral positions in Trinh Lab. The projects are funded by the DARPA Young Faculty Award program that aims to develop an innovative genome editing technology for adaptive defense system against threats (e.g., pathogenes, chemicals). An interested candidate can send his/her CV and research statement to Dr. Trinh (ctrinh@utk.edu).

For the computational project, we are interested in candidates with strong computational skills and backgrounds in bioinformatics, computational biology, machine learning, database, and software development.

For the experimental project, we are interested in candidates with strong skills and backgrounds in CRISPR-based genome editing, mammalian cell culturing and genetics, cell physiology, high throughput screening, pathogens, synthetic biology, and/or bioinformatics.
