Position of words in questions:
There are no helping verbs in Spanish:

English: Do you travel?
Spanish: ¿Trabajas-tú? (Literal translation: Work you?)

English: Do you have a book?
Spanish: ¿Tienes tú un libro? ) (Literal translation: Have you a book?)
English: Does he know my sister?
Spanish: ¿Conoce él a mi hermana? (Literal translation: Knows he my sister?)

English: Do we have time?
Spanish: ¿Tenemos nosotros tiempo?

English: Do they write the lesson?
Spanish: ¿Escriben ellos la lección?

Think about how to say the following questions, and then pause your mouse on the "ANSWER" to see Spanish translation.
1. Do you know the professor?
2. Are we going to the theater?
3. Does he cook dinner?
4. Do you eat at that restaurant?
5. Does the library close at 10 p.m.?
