Xiaopeng Zhao is an Assistant Professor in the Mechanical, Aerospace and Biomedical Engineering Department at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. His research interests are focused on applications of nonlinear dynamics in engineering and biological problems, including MEMS, AFM, cardiac arrhythmias, electroporation, immune response, etc.

Yu Wu received his PhD in mechanics from Zhejiang University. He is currently working on mechanics of nanoparticles, a collaborative project with the Nano Bio-systems and Nano Bio-mimetics Laboratory directed by Prof. Mingjun Zhang.
