I have just returned from a meeting with the Dean of the Evening School who is also responsible for distance education. He is concerned that many DE students lack access to a research library and wants us to establish a program to insure that DE students have comparable access to library collections and services. I need your help with suggestions of how we should implement such a program. No additional funding will be available to support initiatives for DE students.

Please prepare for our February meeting a short list of cost-effective steps we might take.
