Nonnative Invasive Species on Forest Land

USDA Forest Service Forest Inventory and Analysis surveys

UNDER CONSTRUCTION! Early results of selected nonnative invasive species on forest land by county for the Southern Appalachian Area and surrounding States, October 2001-September 2004. Readers are cautioned not to overinterpret the results, as these mapped estimates of the probability of occurrence vary with county size, forest land extent within the county, observers, and sample intensity. These estimates are preliminary and subject to change as new information becomes available. At present, sample intensity varies widely by State.
