SELC Championship Hosted by Georgia Tech

Vols Let Gators Slip Away

KNOXVILLE, TN- The first quarter saw the Vols jump out to a 3-1 lead with Laurence Tilley and Miller Sylvan contributing a goal and an assist each. Tilley was unassisted to begin the game scoring at 14:19 with a bounce shot while rolling left. Full Story

Tennessee's New Look Pounds Clemson

KNOXVILLE, TN- The game started off slowly with the first score not coming until 7:13 in the first as Vol Attackman Gray Fuller put one in from two yards out on the left. The Tigers didn’t stay quiet long, answering with a score of their own at 7:04. Full Story

Bulldogs End Five Game Win Streak

KNOXVILLE, TN- The University of Tennessee Lacrosse team came off of a two and a half week layoff to face the Bulldogs from the University of Georgia. The Friday evening game on March 19th found game time near perfect with a clear sky and temperatures in the low 60s at the Intramural Field. Full Story

Vols Pull Off Another Last Second Victory

KNOXVILLE TN, It had been two years sense Illinois had faced Tennessee and the Illini traveled to the "Train Yard" hoping to avenge their 7-6 loss. Unfortunately for Illinois the Volunteers had other plans. With six seconds left Larry Tilley scored on a pass from Aaron Wise to win 8-7. Full Story

Big Orange Victorious in Atlanta
ATLANTA, GA- The University of Tennessee Lacrosse team traveled to Atlanta to face the Eagles of Emory University Saturday the 21st. The weather was sunny and 60 for the game as the Vols picked up their first road win in convincing fashion. Full Story

UT Bounces Back From Halftime Deficit to Beat Vandy

KNOXVILLE, TN- The University of Tennessee Lacrosse Team improved their season record to 2-1 with an overtime victory over the Vanderbilt Commodores Sunday afternoon at the Intramural Field. 2004 Team Captains Announced
KNOXVILLE, TN- The University of Tennessee Lacrosse team chose four captains to lead them in the upcoming season. Chris Bicsak, Gray Fuller, Brad Casacci and Chris Kirk. The team voted on the four captains last week and were announced today. Full Story

McGinley Breathes New Life Into Team
KNOXVILLE, TN- Coach Ed McGinely returned to the Vols squad in the fall of 2003. He will provide a much needed boost for the Volunteers in 2004 season. “He brings to the table elements of the game which most coaches would overlook and even underestimate,” said head coach Alex White. Full Story

Volunteer Lacrosse Sets Sights on 5th SELC Championship KNOXVILLE, TN- The University of Tennessee lacrosse team brought its fall season to a close last weekend.
