Alex Stoner

I am very interested in environmental sociology and the apparent society/nature dialectic.  I am specifically concerned with the contradiction between certain Enlightenment values such as progress and biophysical well-being.  Right now I am engaging the constructionism vs. realism debate within environmental sociology with the realization that an extreme form of either one is problematic.  I am also interested in philosophy and environmental ethics.
