Aaron T. Rowland

I am currently finishing my MA degree in Sociology with a concentration in political economy. I have BS degrees from Middle Tennessee State University in International Relations (2002: with minors in Economics/Finance and German) and Sociology (2006: with minors in Anthropology and Geography). My research interests include: international political economy, democratic theory, development, Latin American studies, capitalism, neoliberal economic theory, imperialism, political ecology, and social movements. In addition, I teach a section of General Sociology (Soc. 120).

I enjoy spending my off-time with my wife, 2-year-old daughter, and dog. My hobbies include gardening, backpacking, and riding my motorcycle.
