Jonathan Mash

Currently, I am working on my Masters's thesis which is an historical analysis of the Irish Republican Army, or IRA, from a social movements perspective.  I received my BA from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville in Sociology: Criminal Justice in 2005.  My research interests include: sociology of religion, political and religious terrorism, resource mobilization theory,  social movement organization, strategy, and identity

I enjoy the outdoors greatly. Hiking, swimming, canoeing, and camping.  I also am a huge baseball and football fan.
