Green to Gold: Opportunities for Prior-Enlisted Students
Scholarships are awarded for two or three years.
Soldiers with two years of college completed are considered for two-year scholarships.
Soldiers with a baccalaureate degree interested in pursuing a graduate degree are considered for two-year scholarships
Soldiers with one year of college are considered for three-year scholarships.
Students with Green-to-Gold Scholarships receive the following benefits:
- Tuition support
- Additional money for textbooks, supplies, and equipment.
- A monthly stipend of $300 to $400, depending on your year in the program, while school is in session.
- Pay for attending the five-week ROTC Advanced Camp between the junior and senior year of college.
- And if qualified, your Montgomery G.I. Bill / Army College Fund (MGIB / ACF) benefits.
In addition, soldiers can contract to earn a commission as an officer and receive the monthly stipend regardless of whether they receive a scholarship. This is a 2-year program, and it is required that students be able to complete their degree requirements in 2 years.
