Sex Offender Registry
The University of Tennessee Police Department operates a registration station for registered sex offenders living at, attending, or working at the University. Offenders needing to register must call 865.974.1313 to set up an appointment with Lt. Dana P. McReynolds, Sgt Jim Underwood, Sgt.Carl Kelly, or Sgt. Meshia Thomas Offenders must register with The University of Tennessee Police Department to maintain compliance with TCA 40-39-203.
- Tennessee Bureau of Investigation - The Tennessee Sexual Offender and Violent Sexual Offender Registration, Verification, and Tracking Act of 2004 was established in T.C.A. 40-39-201 et. seq. and became effective August 1, 2004. All persons who meet the definition of sexual offender or violent sexual offender and live, work, attend school, or establish a physical presence in Tennessee must register with the appropriate registering agencies as defined by law.
