Administrative Division

Chief of Police

Chief of Police has overall responsibility for strategic planning and management of the University of Tennessee Knoxville Police Department and Central Alarm.

Assistant Chief of Police

Serves as second in charge of the University of Tennessee Knoxville Police Department.  Primary responsibility of the overall coordination of the daily operation of the Police Department as well as direct supervision and daily management of the Investigation Division Assist the Chief of Police with budget planning and administrative tasks including handling of departmental problems.

Chief’s Administrative Assistant

Primary responsibility is to aide the Chief of Police with planning daily functions. Serves as the Administrative Divisions Office Manager, produces the Department’s Annual Report and assist the Chief and the Assistant Chief with the coordination and management of the Department’s fiduciary responsibilities.

Accreditation Manager/Special Projects

Primary responsibility is research, coordinate and mange the Departments accreditation process.  Additional responsibilities include completing special projects as assigned by the Chief of Police.

Payroll/Billing Clerk

Primary responsibility is processing the Police department’s payroll Responsible for billing all recoverable overtime Provides clerical assistance to the Chief of Police and the Assistant Chief of Police.
