Dr. Yingkui Li

Yingkui Li is a physical geographer and GIS/spatial analysis researcher with broader research interests in glacial geomorphology and cosmogenic nuclides, GIS and spatial analysis, soil erosion, land use change and environmental studies. He is currently focusing on the application of cosmogenic nuclide techniques to reconstruct paleo-climate patterns and glacial landform evolution in the Tibetan Plateau and Tian Shan Mountains, Western China. This belongs to international collaborative efforts among the US, China and Sweden scientists. He teaches general courses in physical geography and GIS, upper level courses in geomorphology and special topics in environmental modeling/analysis, and seminars in his specialty.
