I am a graduate of The University of Tennessee and am currently pursuing my Masters in English, along with preparing for law school. I began working with the UT Federal Programs in 2007. I had the privilege of working for Pre-College Upward Bound (PCUB) as a Resident Assistant during the summers of 2007 and 2009. It was a wonderful opportunity for me to work with some great kids through these summers. I am now an Educational Specialist with PCUB and have the opportunity to continue working with our great students.
I have been a part of the TRIO programs since high school. I was a participant in Pre-College Upward Bound for two years. In college, I took part in the EAP McNair program and became a McNair Scholar through their rigorous summer internship. Through that program, I had the opportunity to conduct research and present at research conferences. The TRIO programs have had great influence on me and they continue to serve many students in furthering their education. I feel fortunate to be a part such significant programs.
