United Residence Halls Council

What is URHC?

The United Residence Halls Council can be traced back as far as 1972 when it was known as the Inter-Residence Halls Council. In 1973, the IRHC changed names and has since been known as URHC. United Residence Halls Council is the University's unique example of the nationwide Residence Hall Associations.

Our Purpose:

The purpose of URHC is to unite the students living in residence halls through leadership, programming, service, and education.

What We Do:

Throughout the year, URHC strives to carry on long-standing traditions while building programs we have organized in the past. Successful programs we've organized in the past include VolFest, Trunk-or-Treat, and We Back Pat Night. We also participate in several charitable foundations such as Race for the Cure and Relay for Life
