UT's Home of Bowling, Billiards, and More!
Nestled in the basement of the University Center, Down Under is open to the public with UT Students/Staff/Faculty receiving discounted rates.
Down Under boasts:
- Twelve USBC certified, synthetic bowling lanes (bumper bowling available)
- Eleven professional, nine-foot, Brunswick billiard tables
- Two table tennis tables (Butterfly and Ketler)
- Coin operated Air Hockey, Foosball, and video games
- Play darts, board games, card games free of charge
- Two television lounges, one boasting a 62" HD
- Refreshments including sodas, juice, pastries, chips, and candy
- Classes offered fall, spring, and summer terms (yes, you can actually get academic credit for bowling!)
- Friday and Saturday nights have loud music, blacklights, strobelights, etc.

Whether you are 2 or 102, we can help you have a good time. We have lightweight balls, tiny shoes, and bumpers for the wee ones. We also have special equipment to accomodate persons with disabilities. Please call 974-1077 to discuss any special needs prior to your arrival.
