Outlook for Faculty and Staff
Prerequisites for all classes: Must be a UT Student with valid UT ID, and have a UT e-mail account.
Outlook Basics
Learn the basics of e-mail and calendars in Microsoft Outlook Exchange. You will. E-mail topics include how to send, reply, forward, delete and undelete e-mail, configure your signature, set e-mail options, and how to work with the address book.For calendars, the topics include how to create a single appointment and a recurring appointment. Outlook for Power Users and Support Staff
Learn the more advanced features of Outlook. Topics include Inbox and Calendar sharing, writing rules for handling email, and sending email on behalf of another user. For the calendar, you will learn how to track user responses to invited meetings and create groups for viewing free/busy time. The class will use Windows XP and the Outlook 2007 client. Tmail -- Outlook Web Access
Tmail is the way to access your email when you are off-campus. This access allows you to use any internet browser to connect to your Outlook account. This class will show you how to set the options in Tmail, manage your email, calendar, and use your contacts. Class length is 2 hours. The class handout is available online.
