Amy Wormsley
Amy Wormsley earned a Bachelor’s degree in Education in 1992 and a Master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction in 1993 from the University of Tennessee. She then taught eight years in Knox County. While teaching, Amy earned a Certificate of Administration and Supervision from Lincoln Memorial University in 2000. During her years as a classroom teacher, she worked in a Professional Development School and focused on the training of interns by serving as a mentor teacher. Following a few brief years as a stay-at-home mother, Amy returned to UT to work with the pre-intern program and served as an adjunct instructor. Since 2002, she has worked as a supervisor and co-administrator of the Elementary/Middle School Lyndhurst Program. Amy is currently the administrator of the program, the university mentor for the six schools with Lyndhurst interns, and clinical instructor.
