Elementary Teaching Concentration

Track 2 - Elementary Education Licensure

Students will plan, in concert with the advisor and committee, a program of studies suitable to their educational desires and needs. The following courses are suggested examples that may be added to the required courses to complete a plan of study that will fulfill both the degree requirements and the student's educational goals.

Fall Semester

All Internships begin the first day of the school year, i.e., the first day faculty report in July or August, and end in May or June of the following year. Internships do not begin in January. During the Fall Semester, interns work in their schools the first half of the day; during the second half of the day, interns meet the course requirements that follow.
