The Foothills Antique Tractor and Engine Club is proud to participate annually in the Kingswood School Benefit Show.  Several tractor, engine and car clubs clubs join together for an antique tractor, car and engine show at Kingswood School, located at Bean Station, TN.  The show generates donations for a fund to benefit the resident children at the school.  The donations do not go into the general operating budget.

Kingswood School was started in 1945 at the site of the Tate Springs Resort.  It is a children’s group home for 30 to 40 children who have been abused, neglected or have other difficult circumstances.  Some of the children are in State custody, while others are private placements.

The school receives some State funds for those children placed by the State, but not enough to cover all their expenses.  Some funds are received from families’ insurance, if they have mental health coverage, to cover counseling and similar costs.  But, the major portion for the Kingswood School’s funding is from private donations.
