Everybody get exicted! TISL Day is going to be April 9th. The Tennessee Legislature has invited colleges around the state to come and meet various representatives. There will be speakers and a chance to get started with our committees. All members are strongly encouraged to attend. It is a Wed. and you will be excused from school. So go ahead and mark your calanders and more information will come in the future.2/18/08
The Tennessee Intercollegiate State Legislature (TISL) is holding a membership drive for the 2008-2009 school year. TISL has provided thousands of students over three generations with an education about Tennessee state government and with a channel to express their opinions on state issues. Applications can be picked up on the 3rd floor of the UC on the Student Activities bulletin board or you may contact tisl@utk.edu for an application.
