OUR MISSION
The mission of wood products extension at the University of Tennessee Institute of Agriculture is to provide continuing and informal educational opportunities to the forest products industry and the users of wood products in Tennessee and the region.
Wood products extension works with both primary and secondary forest products manufacturers as well as the customers of the final product. We work with hardwood sawmills, furniture plants, cabinet manufacturers, flooring manufactures, log cabin manufactures, dry kiln facilities, homeowners, etc.
If you have specific needs regarding wood products please contact us. In-plant training is available in all subject areas. Our goal is to meet the needs of Tennessee wood products producers and users.
