Minutes of Meeting, November 28, 2007

The meeting was called to order and Harriette Speigel welcomed everyone to the meeting.
Department Proposals
Ms. McNeil reminded the group that the deadline for submitting departmental proposals for FY09 funding is December 7.
Wireless Presentation
Philippe Hanset from OIT’s Network Services attended the meeting to give a presentation on the current wireless infrastructure on campus and the future upgrade plans. The current wireless infrastructure was installed in 2000 and is reaching the end of its lifespan. Plans are to begin the upgrade in January 2009. Ms. Speigel thanked Mr. Hanset for his informative presentation and with no further business, the meeting was adjourned. The next meeting of the Technology Advisory Board is scheduled for Wednesday, January 16, 2008, at 2:30 PM, in the AHT 4th floor Conference Room.
