Minutes of Meeting, March 28, 2007

Bryant Mayne called the meeting to order.
FY08 Proposed Deliverables
Judy Huddleston presented the FY08 Proposed Budget for the Technology Fee. One new initiative will be a contribution to the funding of the renovation of the Commons. The newly renovated and refurbished Commons is scheduled to open this Fall Semester. The full Technology Fee budget is available on the Tech Fee website at

Student Email
Mike McNeil provided an update on the status of the migration of students from Webmail to Tmail. Additional servers and disks are currently being added to the Tmail system. Once the additional hardware has been installed and tested, student migrations will resume. Estimates are that migrations will resume in early May. Students will have an opportunity to pre register for a specific date to migrate. The migration should be completed by December 2007.
Student Membership on the Technology Advisory Board
Robin McNeil reminded members that this meeting was the last official meeting for this year with the current student membership. She thanked the current members for their service on the committee and invited them to recommend students for next year’s board.
With no further business, the meeting was adjourned. The next meeting of the Technology Advisory Board will be Wednesday, July 18, at 2:30 PM, in the 4th Floor Conference Room, Andy Holt Tower.
