We have some upcoming events listed on the calendar.
Michelle is going to email professor Combs about the Indian guys coming, to see what kind of help he needs.
Michelle has also bought a coffee maker, one less thing for us to deal with.
I have an empty locker, so we are moving some of the stuff into it. It's no. 8, one of the wooden ones at the end of the practice room halls. Shelly had to reschedule for next Tues., but since the meeting time has changed, we are not sure whether whe will be there at 5 or 6. Keep checking. Ms. Carter should probably speak in the last week of March sometime. We have $322. $300 of that is going to prize money. We have a $5 monthly bank fee. We need to do a carwash as soon as it gets warm. We are still working on where our money is. Ms. Carter has agreed to speak, so we need to begin scheduling. Michelle is going to contact Gregory Bars about his appearance. Agenda for next meeting: bring in bios of potential speakers for next semester, and Shelly Binder is speaking on performing!
We are sticking with our bank, for fee reasons. We need to do a fundraiser eventually, perhaps a carwash, in the summer. Possible trip: go with Louann to see the guy who makes cool old instruments. More to come... We need to take action on making arrangements for Ms. Carter to be a home team colloquium speaker. The Jubilee Community Arts Festival will need volunteers...think you are up for the challenge??? Do we want to help with the Choral Festival? Keep up with your program notes. Chanticleer is singing on March 2nd. More info at next meeting. The All Beethoven concert is on the 22nd and 23rd of Feb. Go forth and be educated. SAI is holding a silent auction in the UC. Talk to Marshunda for details. | |
