Tyger Glauser, Graduate Assistant
Tyger Glauser is a newcomer to the University of Tennessee-Knoxville, coming from Bowling Green State University in Bowling Green, Ohio. She graduated Summa Cum Laude in May 2008 with her Bachelor of Science in Human Development and Family Studies, and a minor in Sociology. By the beginning of June, she had moved to Tennessee and started her assistantship as Graduate Assistant for the Office of Student Activities. Her undergraduate involvement includes the Student Alumni Connection, Dance Marathon, Homecoming, Believe in BG Senior Gift Campaign, and Dean's Student Advisory Council. Along with those activities, she worked as a Clerical Assistant for the College of Education and Human Development for three years.
Tyger is proudly serving as Advisor to the Campus Entertainment Board and Film Committees, providing quality entertainment and movies to the University and Knoxville community. Her research interests include work and family balance, how college affects students' family relationships, and the importance of student activities for the complete college experience.
