Welcome
to the web site of the Speech Communication Club!
The Speech Communication Club (S.C.C.) at the University of Tennessee was founded in the fall of 1997 through the hard work and dedication of pioneering officers and members. Since its inception, the S.C.C. has provided a forum in which those majoring, minoring, or simply interested in Speech Communication can discuss issues relevant to this field of study. As well as addressing academic concerns, the S.C.C. has nurtured a sense of fellowship among students, faculty, and staff. This goal has been pursued by maintaining an open, supportive communication environment. By participating in campus events, providing guidance to students new to the major, and attempting to become an asset to the Speech Communication Department, the S.C.C. has created a unique community within the larger University community. We've also been known to throw a helluva party from time to time.
It is
in this spirit that we invite you to explore our page. Meet our Officers,
check out upcoming Events,
find out what we talked about at past Meetings,
even read our Constitution.
As the site develops, we hope to provide even more Resources
and information that will be of value and interest to our visitors.
