Part
of the Division of Finance and Administration, the Office of Space and Facilities' principal functions are to:
develop the capital outlay request for the campus; develop facilities programs for non-auxiliary building renovations and new construction,
working with the Office of Facilities Planning, the Division of Facilities
Services, and building users; lead the planning effort to ensure that units
being displaced due to building renovations or construction are accommodated
with as little disruption as possible; plan, schedule, and oversee relocation of
units; maintain space plans and surge space plans for the main campus; ensure
that buildings and building contents are adequately insured; communicate to
building users and infrastructure personnel information about space and
facilities events which may affect normal operations of units; resolve problems
related to space assignment or usage; and ensure that changes in space
assignment or use are properly reflected in the institutional facilities
database. This site provides
