A Recruitment Counselor serves as a support system and source of information for each potential new member throughout the week of recruitment. A Recruitment Counselor is a disaffiliated member of a chapter, trained to aid potential new members with unbiased and objective guidance.

What is a Recruitment Counselor's role during recruitment?
Helper. Mentor. Friend. All of these words describe what your Recruitment Counselor will be to you during the exciting week that we call recruitment. A Recruitment Counselor is a young woman who has experienced, first-hand, all the excitement and experiences of recruitment, but has also been trained to make the experience a more positive one for you! Your Recruitment Counselor has one thing in mind during this week -- your best interest. She will be there if you have questions about what to wear, what a party will be like, what all this means, or even any questions about life here at the University of Tennessee. Appreciate your Recruitment Counselor and use her skills because she has worked hard just to prepare for this time and will work VERY hard during the week just to help you.
