Each spring semester fraternity members from each chapter participate in the annual boxing tourney.  The annual boxing tournament is one of the oldest and largest fraternity events in the country. The three day event attracts 3,000+ students from all over the south east. It has been going on annually for almost thirty years occurring in the last week of February or the first week of March.  Last year the three night event raised over $70,000 for charity.

This year Sigma Nu was represented by Chris Aytes, Andrew Curtin and Robert Stow.

Homecoming 2010

The brothers of the Epsilon Eta chapter of Sigma Nu Fraternity joined with the sisters of Sigma Kappa sorority to participate in Homecoming 2010, "Rocky Top the Rebels." The two groups spent hundreds of hours at the fraternity house practicing their Smokey's Howl routine, painting the banner and window display and pomping the float and lawn display. It was another award winner Homecoming performance as the two groups won first place in the Large Banner competition and placed second in the Lawn Display. In prior years, Sigma Nu placed third overall in 2005 and 2007.
