Urgent Care
It is the policy of the Student Health Service to schedule appointments for non-urgent visits.
PLEASE USE URGENT CARE APPROPRIATELY.
Urgent care problems are injuries, lacerations, or acute illness with symptoms such as vomiting, fever higher than 100.4, pain, etc. We ask that patients with non-urgent issues such as colds, sore throats without fever, medicine refills, rashes unrelated to medicines and non-painful rashes schedule an appointment.
If you have recently seen a physician here for a problem, you should see them again on a recheck or work-in basis. Evaluations for chronic or ongoing medical problems should be scheduled by appointment. Scheduling appointments permits the urgent care physician to focus on urgent medical care and emergencies and facilitates more rapid assessment and treatment of critically ill patients.
