Message from the Research Council Chair

Greetings from your Chairperson, JoAnne Hall, and welcome to Research Council 2008-09.

We are a Faculty Senate Committee comprised of Office of Research staff and administration, and faculty members representing diverse units and unique needs in terms of research and creative achievement.

The first meeting of the year will be held on Monday, September 15 from 3:30 to 5:00 pm in the University Center Executive Dining Room. A decision will be made at the first meeting if we will continue to meet at this location. Light refreshments will be served. As we begin a new academic year, we want to reinvigorate the Research Council. The coming year will be one of new goal setting. News and relevant documents will be added to this website as needed. At our first meeting, we will make introductions and try to develop the year’s focal issues and tasks. Please send any agenda items to me at joanne_hall@comcast.net.
