Marine
Corps Tuition Assistance Program (MCTAP)
As college students, you need money for tuition.
To this end, the Marine Corps offers up
to $5200.00 a year in tuition reimbursement to candidates
who have completed their first summer of Officer Candidates School under the
Platoon Leaders class. The money you receive is to reimburse you for
money spent or loans acquired to pay for tuition, books and lab fees. This
is a voluntary program that will not be offered to you unless you apply for
it--with this
in mind, we make information regarding the program available to you.

PROGRAM
DETAILS:
·

years (instead of three and a half years) for PLC-Ground and Law applicants.
·
MCTAP does not
affect the active duty requirement of PLC-Air and NFO applicants.
·
You may
receive MCTAP for a maximum of 3 academic years. If you have
been receiving MCTAP since you were a sophomore and you are entering your fifth
year of school, you are ineligible.
