edieval and Renaissance Faire
Friday, September 14, 9:00 am to 3:00 pm, on Circle Park
The Marco Institute will sponsor a Medieval and Renaissance festival, featuring an anachronistic celebration of Medieval and Renaissance culture with costumes, crafts, games and fun. Actors and performers will engage in historical reenactments and costume comedy; artists and artisans will demonstrate the production of medieval crafts; singers and musicians will perform the music of the period. Middle School students from Knox and surrounding counties will be invited to use this occasion for a hands-on learning experience designed to be both educational and entertaining.
