    TIPS FOR GOOD SLEEP

    - So You Don't Count Sheep

    • Maintain a regular bed and wake time schedule.
    • Exercise regularly and complete your workout at least 3 hours before bedtime.
    • Avoid alcohol, especially close to bedtime. Alcohol has been found to contribute to less restful sleep.
    • Sleeping in a slightly cool environment lower than 75 degrees and higher then 54 degrees reduces the chance of disruption during sleep.
    • While the amount of sleep one needs may vary across populations continuous quality sleep contributes to how we feel, our daily performance, and our overall quality of life.
