I took piano lessons from eleven years, and have continued to play since. I have my digital piano set to automatically record whatever I play, and I often sit down and just play random combinations. If they sound good, I may start writing them down and eventually record and score them.. Occasionally, I make the unfortunate mistake of venturing into the other instuments.
I have a few sample files of stuff I've written, all of which I mean to clean up and write down eventually, but I never get around to it. I just let it sit, mistakes and all, and do other things. I post it in the hope that the public embarassment will compel me to finish one of them.
Deadline was written at about 4AM when I couldn't sleep before my Environmental qualifier. I passed it, and the song isn't terrible. Trees - that's not its real title, but it's one I can post publicly. Balance is named because I tried to use two instruments on my digital piano and tried to balance them against each other. Yes, I'm clever. Shizuka is just quiet, and has some Asian influence. Static Vivaldi comes from someone saying it was fast like vivaldi's work, and the gain on the microphone was too high there was a lot of static. Again, I'm quite clever.
