Flute Audition Requirements
Students unable to attend one of the scheduled dates should contact Dr. Binder (GamutUT@aol.com) about scheduling an alternate audition time
The audition will include: sight-reading and two contrasting solo works. Please choose one movement from two contrasting selections:
- Solo Repertoire
- Any Handel Sonata (undergraduates only)
- Any Bach Sonata
- Mozart--Concerto in G or D
- Ibert--Concerto
- Music by French Composers (any one piece)--edited by Louis Moyse, published by G. Schirmer
- Poulenc--Sonata
- Hindemith--Sonata
- Mucynzski--Sonata
- Reinecke--Sonata
- Prokofieff--Sonata
- J S Bach--Sonata
- Unaccompanied
- J S Debussy--Syrinx (undergraduates only)
- Honegger--Danse de la Chevre (undergraduates only)
- Bach or C P E Bach--Partita in A Minor
- Robert Dick--Lookout
- Etudes
- Berbiguer Etudes (undergraduates only)
