Dr. Clare Milner
Dr. Milner teaches graduate and undergraduate courses in the biomechanics and anatomy areas of the exercise science curriculum. Her major research efforts are in the biomechanics of lower extremity injury and rehabilitation, in particular the occurrence of stress fractures in runners and the quality of walking gait following joint replacement surgery.
Publications include research articles in Medicine and Science in Sports and Exercise, Journal of Biomechanics and Journal of Anatomy, and abstracts published in the proceedings of the American College of Sports Medicine, American Society of Biomechanics and the International Society of Biomechanics conferences. She is also a member of these professional societies and serves as a manuscript reviewer for several scholarly journals.
Prior to her present position, Dr Milner underwent extensive post-doctoral training at Penn State University and the University of Delaware.
