Dr. Wendell Liemohn

Professor

Teaches a course in applied biomechanics. Publications include

(a) articles in Research Quarterly for Exercise & Sport, Journal of Orthopaedic & Sports Physical Therapy, Rheumatic Diseases Clinics of North America, Journal of Strength & Conditioning Research, Spine;

(b) book chapters in Health Fitness Instructor's Handbook, Resource Manual for Guidelines for Exercise Testing and Prescription, YMCA Healthy Back Book; and

(c) a book titled Exercise Prescription and the Back (McGraw-Hill, 2001).

Has served as President of the Adapted Physical Education Academy and as President of the Research Consortium (both of AAHPERD). He is a Fellow in (a) American Academy of Kinesiology and Physical Education and (b) American College of Sports Medicine. In the last few years his research focus has been in the examination of factors relating to core stability.
