The Student Alumni Associates (SAA) work in conjunction with and under the auspices of the UT National Alumni Association (UTNAA) to provide an enriched relationship between students and alumni, a resource for the student body regarding alumni, campus, and service activities, and an increased sense of school spirit.

Through this volunteer service, SAA fulfills its pledge of "Students serving Students . . . Past . . . Present . . . Future."

We encourage your participation, support, and questions, and sincerely hope that we may be of service to you in forming a better university.

Mission

The SAA's Mission is: To Serve The University of Tennessee To The Best of Our Ability!

When we meet every other Thursday afternoon or participate in any of our events, the most important question that we need to address is “Why are we participating in SAA?” The correct answer should be to improve the University while building a bridge between the students of the past, present and future. Our motivation stems from the integrity and pride that lies within our love for our Alma Mater and our respect for our community.

Events and projects are made mandatory within SAA in order for all members to fully receive from the gift of service. The events are not planned to burden our members, but to heighten our awareness of our University and instill within each of us a pattern for lifelong service and commitment to UT.
