First we stopped at the Visitor Center, and then we drove to the Lava Flow Trail. As we approached Sunset Crater Volcano, we drove past the Bonito Lava Flow.
Here was the first view we had of the Bonito Lava Flow. The Bonito Lava Flow is formed from lava which escaped from the base of Sunset Crater.
