As we ended our tour we had views of the Empire State Building, the Chrysler Building and the United Nations; as well as, Roosevelt Island, Queens and Brooklyn.
Here is the Empire State Building. It towers above the surrounding buildings in this part of Manhattan.
Here is another picture of the Empire State Building and the Manhattan skyline. To the right, the Chrysler building is visible.
The skyscraper with the golden top is the Chrysler building.
Lastly, we saw the United Nations. There are no windows in the sides of this building; so that no one can claim a corner office.
Our tour ended by turning around in the East River and retracing our path. After the sun had set, we had spectacular views of Manhattan at night.
