In the summer of 2001, Rachelle and I visited my brother-in-law and his wife, Philip and Jennifer Reichle, in Nyack, NY. One evening during our stay, we took a harbour tour of New York Harbor, traveling down the Hudson, around the tip of Manhattan, up the East River and back.

Here is a close-up of the World Trade Center's Twin Towers. These two buildings totally dominated the view.
The reality of their destruction has not sunk in for me yet. I suspect that it won't until the next time Rachelle and I travel to New York.
