NOTE: The following template is the one recommended for use during student teaching. However, you may choose from others for this course. You should find a lesson planning format you like and stick with it. The second template is one that I have used in another teaching methods course. It is a little different in format than the first one. Use whatever you prefer. However, you will be expected to use some standardized lesson planning format as you complete lessons and teach them in AEE 434.
Lesson Plan Template # 1 - PDF Format - If you already have Adobe Acrobat installed on your computer, simply left-click on the template link and it will open into the Adobe Acrobat reader. You can print from the reader, but you cannot edit the file. If you need to install Adobe Acrobat Reader, you can click on the Icon above and follow the instructions on the screen.
Lesson Plan Template # 1 - MS Word (DOC) Format - If you are using Netscape Navigator, right-click on the doc link to the left and then on "save link as" and specify a file path and name. If you are using Internet Explorer, right-click on the link and then on "save target as" and specify a file path and name. Then, open MS Word (97 or 2000) and open the file where you saved it.
NOTE: Here is an example of a lesson planning template I've used in another teaching methods course. Download it using the same instructions as with the formats above. The first is formatted as an Adobe Acrobat file, the second as an MS Word file.
