On February 12, 2002 the 1st Annual BEES Chili Cook-Off
was held. This event was sponsored by the PSES club and was a great success.
The contest was open to all students, faculty, and staff of the BEES department
and PSES club. Seven contestants entered their chili in the contest, which
was judged based on overall flavor, spiciness, and originality. A large
pot of mild chili was available to everyone, and the club also sold drinks
and hotdogs to earn a little extra money. This was the first cook-off
sponsored by the PSES club and we hope this event will continue next year.
