Commencement Traffic and Parking Information for May 6th, 7th and 8th

 

ALERT - TRAFFIC DELAYS POSSIBLE

Please be advised that possible traveling delays could occur due to construction along Neyland Drive and the road closure of Phillip Fulmer Way.   It is recommended that sufficient driving and parking time be allowed around the UT campus.  More information regarding the road closure of Phillip Fulmer Way is available at http://www.utk.edu/status/.

PARKING INFORMATION

It is recommended that students check directly with their individual colleges concerning any special parking needs or arrangements for guests attending a commencement ceremony.  Handicap parking spaces are available in the G-10 Parking Garage.

The Parking and Transit Services Department will make free parking available for all graduates and their guests in student parking areas.  Close proximity parking includes:

 G-10 Garage located off of Neyland Drive

11th Street Garage located off Cumberland Avenue

G-12 White Avenue Garage (located at 16th Street and White Avenue across from Clement Hall)

Please be advised that parking in staff parking areas is prohibited.

ATTENTION COLLEGE OF ARTS AND SCIENCES GRADUATES

Due to a high number of guests expected to attend the College of Arts and Sciences ceremony, FREE bus transportation will be available from the Agriculture Campus CFN1 parking lot and the G-7 Parking Garage located at the corner of Volunteer Blvd and Andy Holt Avenue.  Bus Service is scheduled to begin at  6:30 AM.
