Pre-Vet Association Meeting Minutes for 9/19/06
- KAPLAN
o Sherri Graves came to talk about the new format of the GRE to be introduced next Fall 2007
* Remember that there will be a FREE practice GRE (the current or "old" format) test to be given at various locations on campus on Saturday morning October 28th. The test will start around 10-11 that morning
* Go online to take the "new" version practice tests and example problems. Also, you can register for $25,000 towards any Grad School on the website www.kaptest.com/gre
- Zoo trip
o Remember we will be taking a trip to the Knoxville Zoo Saturday September 30th (check the calendar for details). Dr. Schumacher will be leading the tour.
o Carpooling will be a great idea so try and get with someone who drives or e-mail the account if you will need a ride down there.
- Dues
o ALL DUES ARE DUE AT THE NEXT MEETING, OCTOBER 3rd!! These are only $10.
- Next meeting
o Our next meeting will be October the 3rd and we will have a Lab Vet from UT's Vet Clinic coming to talk.
- Vet tour/surgeries
o If you would like a tour around the vet school or have a few hours in the morning during the week to see surgeries let us know and we'll try to set something up.
