Pre-Vet Association Meeting Minutes for 9/19/06

- Dr. William Hill, DVM, a companion lab animal vet, came to talk to the group. He explained the

entire process of getting to where he is and what he does now. In addition, he explained the huge

variety of animals he gets to work with from one day to the next. Contact him at his utk.edu e-mail

if you would like to ask him any questions or learn about any more information.

- Remember to turn in the Boo at the Zoo forms by Thursday, October 5th. Go onto the Zoo website and

click on the Boo at the Zoo link. Just e-mail the director of the event and tell her you sent in a

form and are with the pre-vet group just so she has an idea you're coming.

- If you haven't paid your dues yet, they're $10 and are due ASAP!!!

- Anyone who wants to take the FREE Practice GRE can register online at the

www.kaptest.com/gre site and follow the online instructions.

- Our next meeting will be Tuesday October 17th at 7 PM in Brehm 212. Dr. Brace will be coming from

UTCVM to talk about getting into Vet School and the application process.
