Master of Public Policy and Administration
The Political Science department, in cooperation with the Howard H. Baker Jr. Center for Public Policy, offers the Master of Public Administration and Public Policy (MPPA) degree program. (This replaced the MPA program, which was phased out in 2012.)

The MPPA is a professional degree program designed to prepare men and women to assume responsible positions in the public service and the not-for-profit sector through a program of study that integrates the theory and practice of public administration and public policy analysis. The program aspires to produce graduates who are literate in the field of public administration, have the skills to be effective managers of organizational resources, and possess the analytical abilities to be creative problem solvers. A new curriculum will go into effect for the 2013-14 academic year.
